The Bruce Freeman Rail Trail (proposed)
This is an existing rail trail in Massachusetts. On August 29, 2009, the first 6.8-mile segment opened in Lowell, Chelmsford, and Westford. Another 3.4 miles are proposed in Framingham.

The Cochituate Rail Trail (in progress)
